LA Opera on Air

Our operas are heard around the world.

Each season, hand-selected performances are recorded by our amazing team of audio  engineers for future broadcast.

Opera fans don't have to live in Los Angeles to experience some of our most exciting productions.

Radio (and streaming) broadcasts of our performances can be heard every season on Classical California KUSC  and on the WFMT Radio Network.

The 2024 broadcast schedule features these productions recorded live at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, coming soon to WFMT Radio Network member stations nationwide:

September 14*
Double bill of William Grant Still's Highway 1, USA   and  Alexander Zemlinsky's The Dwarf

September 21*
Giacomo Puccini's Turandot

* Broadcast dates and times vary by  member station
