Saturday Mornings at the Opera

You and your little ones can discover the magic of opera together.

Introduce your family to the magic of opera. Children enjoy an interactive, family-friendly opera under the glittering chandeliers of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. The whole family will make lasting memories and have an unforgettable experience.

Before the show, little ones get their wiggles out with a full hour of music, dance, and art workshops. They will create special souvenirs to remember their first (or second, or third) time at the opera. Make Saturday Mornings at the Opera your family tradition. We’ve saved a seat just for you.

WHO WANTS TO BE AN OPERA SINGER?

10:00am - Art workshops
11:00am - Performance

Who Wants to be an Opera Singer? is a fun and interactive introduction to the opera world. With a spin of the “Opera Wheel,” our singers compete for a golden award by singing abridged versions of opera’s greatest hits. Along the way, we'll learn about concepts like voice and character types, the conductor of an opera, the orchestra, and more.

Tickets are $18 each.
