Free Kelli O’Hara Tickets to Fire-Affected Residents, First Responders and Incredible Support Teams
Our hearts are filled with love, sympathy and concern for everyone affected by the wildfires that have devastated our community. We are heartbroken that so many have lost their homes and businesses. In the wake of this tragedy, and in an effort to provide respite and comfort, LA Opera is extending free tickets to fire-affected residents, first responders and those providing extraordinary care to those impact to attend our February 1 concert featuring the Tony-Award winning Broadway star Kelli O'Hara in performance with the LA Opera Orchestra. The Broadway legend will be treating us to a host of musical classics as well as some other surprises that we won’t spoil. It will be a night of healing and love with a truly iconic artist.
Music is one of the greatest healing forces in the universe, capable of bringing us comfort, community and inspiration even in the most difficult times. In an interview with Broadway World, Kelli O’Hara said "given what’s going on in Los Angeles with the fires, my concert will give people an opportunity to make art together and to heal in a creative space together. It makes me proud that I can do that for others as well as myself." We are honored to host a gathering for members of the Los Angeles community to experience the profound power of music.
Residents from evacuated areas, first responders and those who have provided extraordinary support to those whose lives have been upended by the fire can reserve up to four free tickets by clicking here.
Stay safe and stand strong, LA. We love you.
