LA Opera is honored to be a place where you can immerse yourself in the transformative and healing power of music. It is in this spirit that we've crafted our 40th Anniversary Season with an eye on both our history and our future. 

You're invited to  join us online on Tuesday, February 11 at 7:00pm as we reveal our historic 2025/2026 Season, which also marks Maestro James Conlon's final season as Music Director, capping off a transformative 20-year tenure. 

Join LAO Legacy Ambassador Patty Rodriguez as she hosts a conversation with President and CEO Christopher Koelsch and Music Director James Conlon about all the productions in store, with special appearances by: 

• Academy Award-nominated writer-director and LAO Board member, Rian Johnson (Knives Out, Glass Onion, Looper);
• Legacy Ambassadors and folk duo Johnnyswim (Amanda Sudano and Abner Ramirez) giving us a peek backstage;
• Actress Nicole Lyn and entrepreneur Veronica Hu, also Legacy Ambassadors, with a tour of our costume shop led by Jeannique Prospere, our costume director;
• Plus hear from some of the stars of our 40th Anniversary season, including Janai Brugger, Craig Colclough, John Holiday, Sydney Mancasola and Gabriella Reyes.
