Elementary In School Opera

Our professional teaching artists will help your students learn their part in an age-appropriate opera.

Our professional teaching artists will help your students discover their musical and performance talents while learning their parts in an opera they will perform for their friends, family and community.

Through engaging weekly workshops, your students will learn their roles as chorus members in Figaro's American Adventure, a kid-friendly opera by Eli Villanueva and LeRoy Villanueva.

Figaro's American Adventure is our celebration of Rossini's The Barber of Seville. Journey back in time to colonial America where Figaro, along with his band of sneaky barbers and colonial compatriots, leads us on a musical goose chase. Ultimately, he outsmarts his adversary and love triumphs as he helps his friend the Count win the hand of his beloved Rosina.

Applications will be accepted through Friday, November 22 or until the program is full.
