Elementary Student Matinees
Best field trip ever? (We think so.)
Kids experience the magic of opera with an interactive performance written just for them on an exciting trip to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion—for free*.
Who Wants to be an Opera Singer?
Who Wants to be an Opera Singer? is a fun and interactive introduction to the opera world. With a spin of the “Opera Wheel,” our singers compete for a golden award by singing abridged versions of opera’s greatest hits. Along the way students will be introduced to concepts like voice and character types, the conductor of an opera, the orchestra, and more.
