LA Opera and The Wallis present tenor Benjamin Bernheim in recital on November 9
(Los Angeles) October 9, 2024 — On November 9, LA Opera and The Wallis will present the first of three recitals in their season-long collaboration: French lyric tenor Benjamin Bernheim, one of the most exciting artists of our time, in recital with pianist Carrie-Ann Matheson.
An international sensation after his stellar performance at the closing ceremonies of the Paris Olympics, Benjamin Bernheim is a regular at Europe’s leading opera houses who also embraces the subtle, intimate art of the solo recital. Hailed by Le Monde as "simply stunning," Bernheim makes his Los Angeles debut in a special one-night-only performance at The Wallis, performing ravishing songs and arias. Spend an evening with the rising star whom The New York Times calls "France's new favorite tenor."
