Paula Miranda

Paula Miranda is a proud Los Angeles native with Indigenous Mexican-American and Puerto Rican roots. With her dynamically diverse looks and background, she worked globally modeling and acting over 25 years. She understands and recognizes the transformative power of the arts and its ability to teach tolerance, foster connection and empathy within communities.

For over 16 years, Paula has passionately advocated for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in various spheres, particularly in education and the arts. Her dedicated work in transforming supporting communities of color in institutions reflects her commitment to creating inclusive environments where every voice is heard, empowered and celebrated.

In addition to her advocacy, Paula is a wellness practitioner specializing in Somatic energy work. She creates heart-opening experiences that encourage individuals to connect with their authentic self in their bodies and find balance physically, emotionally, and mentally.

As an Ambassador for LA Opera, Paula is dedicated to promoting the arts as a vital platform for expression and social change.
