Charles Lane
Charles Lane has the distinction of being the first Cathedral Cantor at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, a position he has held since its dedication in 2002.
A Los Angeles native, he has performed with the LA Opera Chorus since the inaugural Otello in 1986, with solo appearances as a Guardsman in Manon and in the featured ensemble of Matthew Aucoin's Crossing. Since 2007 has performed regularly with Los Angeles Guild Opera, which takes opera to inner-city schools. He is also a longtime member of the Los Angeles Master Chorale.
