Join LA Opera Connects and Hispanics for LA Opera on The Music Center’s Jerry Moss Plaza to enjoy musical performances, a vibrant marketplace featuring local artisans, and specially curated food and drinks.

Immerse yourself in this one-of-a-kind celebration of Latino artistry and culture on Sunday, May 4, 2025. This event is free to attend and open to all ages.

PERFORMANCES

  • 3:30-4:00PM - Las Colibrí
    Las Colibrí is an award-winning all female mariachi ensemble with a passion for music, beauty, and girl power.

  • 4:15-4:35PM - LA Opera Connects' Zarzuela Project
    We created the Zarzuela Project so that anyone and everyone could come together and experience the magic of performing Spanish-language musical theater.

  • 5:00-5:45PM - Mariachi Divas
    With a career spanning 25 years, the critically acclaimed all-female Mariachi Divas de Cindy Shea delights audiences from around the world.

  • 6:15-6:45PM - Rumba Flamenca featuring Guitarist Adrian Dezera and Dancers Jessica Perez and Jasmine Elis San Nicholas
    All coming from Latinx heritage, mixing Flamenco styles from Andalucia with the sounds of Latin America is something the group excels in.
