We celebrate rising artists in the industry in a (really) big way.
The Eva and Marc Stern Artist Award celebrates, supports, and propels the artistry of rising opera singers in the industry.
The $25,000 award recognizes artists with deep connections to LA Opera and serves as an expression of gratitude for past, present, and future contributions to the company's creative endeavors. The honorific prize will assist artists with the many significant expenses required by a professional career in opera, including language studies, travel, coaching and preparation.
The 2025 Stern Artist Award recipients are tenor Anthony León and soprano Erica Petrocelli, two outstanding performers with deep ties to LA Opera.
