La Boheme
La Bohème

FALL IN LOVE ALL OVER AGAIN

Five hundred  twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes—no, wait, that’s the other one.

Before there was Rent, there was Puccini’s beloved La Bohème. Follow along as a group of struggling artists dodge the rent, skip out on the check, and fall in and out of love on the streets of Bohemian Paris.

Puccini’s classic opera introduces Italian sensation Oreste Cosimo as Rodolfo, a poet in love with his neighbor Mimì (decorated soprano Janai Brugger). Marcello and Musetta are on-again-off-again lovers, and Colline and Schaunard are just along for the ride.

One of the world’s favorite romances returns to the LA Opera stage in a gorgeous period production, led by Resident Conductor Lina González-Granados.
